Light blankets of untouched white snow flurry down slowly tonight for those of us in the mid-west. A gray & empty sky giving way to a translucent backdrop highlighting the intertwining dark patterns of branches surrounding the usual horizon. No moon in sight yet there's almost a dim glow behind the opaque setting. Silent, crisp and chilling air. Listening to the flakes drop into place.
